Serenity Center
This project proposes a temporary dog shelter located within a residential
neighborhood, designed to create a calm and supportive environment for animal care.
The building layout is organized around clearly defined circulation paths, ensuring
intuitive movement and preventing disorientation for users with Alzheimer's disease.

The site is located in an in-between urban area that is predominantly inhabited by elderly residents. The spatial program is structured around a café serving Alzheimer’s patients and their relatives, a clinical unit, three paddocks, two specialized areas for sensory dogs,a quarantine facility, a dedicated storage unit, as well asfree-roaming zones for dogs and controlled open-air circulation areas for dogs in quarantine.
.
