coop-er nest: sanctuary for life and exchange

coop-er nest is a temporary supporting shelter located in Etiler. The area that was previously used as a car park, evolves and becomes a park-bazaar- temporary shelter complex.

With its patina covered copper roofs, coop-er nest tries to become a nest for dogs that need care while integrating them to daily life simultaneously. Paddocks are directly adjacent to market stalls and shops and open for human-animal interaction.

a former car park turning into a "park-bazaar-shelter" complex is an urban metamorphosis. It replaces a rigid, asphalt void with a breathing green ecosystem.

 sanctuary for recovery

The veterinary clinic within Coop-er Nest serves as the project's Healing Heart, the spatial manifestation of the Old Patina. It is where the history of stray animals is addressed through medical intervention in sanctuary for recovery.

Paddocks are located to vet clinic according to their medical conditions and amount of care they need.
